Accenture Earns Global Innovation HP Partner in Excellence Award in Field of Cloud Computing

By Shankar Pandiath

It was recently announced at the HP Global Partner Conference 2013, that Accenture, the global management giant, has been awarded the prestigious Global Innovation HP Partner in Excellence Award in the field of cloud computing.

For Accenture, a company offering comprehensive management solutions in a wide range of fields for businesses globally, recognition is not a new concept, this award being just another feather in its cap.

Submitting the HP Partner in Excellence Award is a long procedure. A panel of executives from HP Alliance meets to present to HP partners info on companies who demonstrate exceptional performance in business, along with overall significant growth and innovative customer delivery services. Companies should also demonstrate IT innovation in local communities through a variety of philanthropic activities.

Accenture stands out when it comes to corporate social responsibility and development of society.

Its unique cloud computing platform increases the reach of the healthcare industry and makes state-of-the-art technology available to clients everywhere, even those located in remote regions.

The Global Innovation HP Partner in Excellence Award recognizes the work of Accenture in partnership with HP to implement Private Cloud solutions for clients contributing to the global healthcare industry.

Scott Harrison, global managing director of Alliances at Accenture, believes the Excellence Award in the Field of Cloud Computing is an ideal recognition for the work of Accenture, in the generation of extraordinary business results with far-reaching outcomes. This is a testament to the proven record of the company in working with its partners in the creation of tangible, client-oriented results.

This award, he added, is an appropriate culmination of the partnership between Accenture and HP, which goes back nearly 20 years. They have been jointly designing and implementing strategic solutions for common clients over the years, and this award recognizes Accenture as a landmark in partnership with HP.

Jesse Chavez, vice president of Alliances, and World Channel Sale at HP, said this unique cloud solution unites the expertise of Accenture with CloudSystem Matrix from HP for the creation of an excellent Data Warehouse Greenfield Enterprise.

This reflects the importance of partnerships in the present-day market scenario.

With this award, the playing field has opened up and only paves the way for others to follow suit, making the most of joint ventures that change the face of IT on a global scale.
