Dell'Oro Group Forecasts Bright Future ahead for Data Center Appliance Market

Casey Quillin, senior analyst of Data Center Appliance Market Research at Dell'Oro Group indicated that the virtual appliance market is fast changing and they foresee high priced and higher end products that make networks smarter and become more dominant, and that the cloud applications were a perfect example. He also added; “F5, Riverbed, Citrix, and A10 have all recently announced virtual appliance solutions for the public cloud which are compatible with Amazon Web Services."

Network intelligence applications will soon be playing bigger roles and will change the market dynamics. The prices will expectedly further appreciate and the rise will further supplement unit growth in the segment. The report also highlights that virtual appliances that come within the Data Center Appliance market and which form less than about 10 percent of the total market will slowly gain, and the growth trajectory projects it to reach about 30 percent of total market revenue by the year 2017.
