PeakColo Taps RiverMeadow Software for Onboarding of Cloud Migration SaaS

By Erin Harrison

Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) provider PeakColo has chosen RiverMeadow Software to provide its cloud migration Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) to its customers to onboard and migrate between PeakColo cloud environments.

RiverMeadow software is the developer of the RiverMeadow cloud migration SaaS, an automated server migration platform developed for carrier and service provider clouds. The partnership allows PeakColo to make sure the cloud is translated into value for its clients, according to Luke Norris, CEO and founder of PeakColo.

“PeakColo’s vCloud Powered solutions provide agility through security; control; efficiency through utilization and automation; and freedom of choice around migration and integration to the cloud,” Norris said in a statement.

Under the terms of the agreement, PeakColo will resell RiverMeadow to its customers as an integrated service within the PeakColo cloud platform.

“PeakColo has a unique business model and is one of the true innovators in the cloud market,” said Mark Shirman, president and CEO at RiverMeadow Software.

The RiverMeadow cloud migration SaaS is an API-based platform designed to automate the migration of physical, virtual and cloud based servers into and between public, private and hybrid cloud environments. The RiverMeadow SaaS supports an unlimited number of service providers and enterprise users at any given time.

Partners can instantly access RiverMeadow’s three main processes (collect, convert and deploy) that automate server migrations from start-to-finish by providing their cloud URL and credentials.

Last month, RiverMeadow announced it will offer its cloud migration SaaS to VMware Service Provider Program (VSPP) partners.

“RiverMeadow’s cloud migration SaaS helps customers easily and cost-effectively onboard servers into VMware vCloud environments by automating the migration process from start-to-finish, Parag Patel, vice president, Global Strategic Alliances, VMware, said in a statement. “It can help accelerate the onboarding of enterprise workloads into VMware environments, and we are pleased that RiverMeadow will offer this solution to our community of VSPP partners.”
