CA Technologies Announces New Identity and Access Management Solution

CA Technologies Announces New Identity and Access Management Solution

By Shankar Pandiath

CA Technologies recently announced that its IAM solution (Identity and Access Management solution) will now integrate with SAP solutions to help address risk and compliance challenges and reduce the risk of fraud.

Using Greenlight Technologies’ business controls platform, the CA Technologies’ compliant identity and access management (IAM) capabilities are integrated with the SAP Access Control application. The integration provides real-time exclusion and automates the segregation of duties and compliant user provisioning across business application and IT landscapes using SAP Access Controls.

It not only provides preventive controls, but also provides a consistent model platform across SAP and non-SAP applications to reduce IT support requirements. Organizations can now streamline compliance and reduce their risk levels by combining the SAP Access Control’s risk efficiencies and the operational efficiency of CA Technologies’ compliant identity and access management (IAM) capabilities.

“Today’s multi-application, multi-policy environments add complexity and risk to IAM processes, such as provisioning, making it tough for organizations to improve operational efficiencies and manage compliance,” said Mike Denning, general manager, Security business, CA Technologies.

“Our agreement with Greenlight creates a solution to simplify the process of provisioning while enabling consistent segregation of duty checks across key applications.”

Anand Adya, founder and chief executive officer of Greenlight Technologies said that they were looking forward to their association with CA Technologies. He also added; “Our proven track record of extending access policies across the enterprise coupled with the award-winning capabilities in CA Technologies’ IAM solutions make implementing the Greenlight Enterprise Integration Solution a simple choice for organizations.”

Recently, CA Technologies was named an energy management software leader for the second consecutive year by Verdantix. It was also recently named a leader by Forrester in “The Forrester Wave: Project/Program Portfolio Management, Q4 2012.” The firm was specifically recognized for its Clarity Project and Portfolio Management solution.
