Blackstone Networks Debuts as MSP and IT Solutions Company

By Laura Stotler

There's a new MSP and IT solutions company in town. Orange County, CA-based BlackStone Networks, LLC announced its official launch today. The company will help small- to medium-sized businesses with their IT, hardware, software, phone and cabling needs, providing full-service solutions.

BlackStone will procure, install and manage services for any technology needs its SMB customers lack the infrastructure to support. The service provider will also offer ongoing support and warranty services for its customers. Specific services being offered include hosted business applications like Microsoft Office, e-mail, file sharing, PCI compliance and website development, hosting and management.

Technical support and communications services like Internet access, wireless networking, VoIP and managed LAN will also be provided, as well as hardware and software procurement and management for desktops, laptops and smartphones along with the necessary software. BlackStone's approach will be to conduct a full audit of its customers' IT use and needs and create flexible and custom solutions that best serve its clients.

Additional goals of the new MSP include acquiring other companies specializing in the areas of IT integration, network deployment and support and hosted and dedicated application environments. BlackStone is also working on an integrated partner network that will enable the company to become a "one stop shop" for southern California SMBs. Key communications service providers that will be part of the partner network include Level 3 Communications.

"Having been a medium-sized business in Orange County for many years, I know how hard it is to have cohesion in your office technology, business applications and network," said Ari Benowitz, founder and CEO of BlackStone Networks. "Our mission is to be a partner for all southern California business and help them acquire and manage their mission-critical technology and business applications."

"We're pleased to be an integral part in enabling BlackStone to offer a full suite of telecommunications services," said Sonia Ramsey, regional vice president of sales for Level 3 Communications. "From our SIP trunking and IP VPN services to our dedicated internet access and our Converged Business Network platform, BlackStone can now offer its customers a comprehensive communications solution."
