Latin American Service Provider Softtek to Offer Amazon Web Services

By Laura Stotler

In major news for cloud services in Latin America, Softtek announced it will offer Amazon Web Services (AWS) solutions through the company's Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE). The move marks the first such center in Latin America and an exciting move for nearshore and global IT services provider Softtek.

An AWS Partner Network (APN) Consulting Partner, Softtek offers a variety of cloud services through its CCoE. These include architecture and advisory solutions, cloud application development and migration, application support and AWS managed services. The company has a unique presence in Latin America as a nearshore provider and is in an ideal position to deliver AWS to global markets throughout the Americas region.

Softtek uses its CCoE to focus on cloud implementation, migration, modernization and virtualization service offerings. The provider also recently published a piece on cloud technology, "Moving from Tactical Cloud to the Disruptive Cloud," offering Gartner research along with Softtek insights.

As a global provider of process-driven IT services, Softtek has more than 30 offices with locations in North America, Latin America, Asia and Europe. The provider aims to improve time-to-business solutions as well as lower the costs of existing applications. Additional goals include delivering better engineered and tested applications along with producing predictable outcomes for its customers in more than 20 countries.

“We are proud to offer Amazon Web Services through our Cloud Center of Excellence," said Warren Ross, global director of cloud services for Softtek. "Our relationship with AWS represents Softtek’s commitment to provide a comprehensive set of cloud-based solutions to our clients.”

“We are pleased that Softtek is committed to helping customers move applications to AWS by offering AWS services through its Cloud Center of Excellence,” said Terry Wise, head of worldwide partner ecosystem, AWS. “AWS is working closely with Softtek to support our joint customers as they migrate their applications to AWS.”
