MCPc Expands Managed Services Business Unit with Employees and Customers of Foundatia Technologies

MCPc, Inc., a technology products and solutions provider, has absorbed the customers and employees of Cleveland managed services provider (MSP) Foundatia Technologies. The new hires will be part of the MCPc's Managed Services Business Unit, and Foundation's customers will be merged into that unit as well.

The new Managed Services Business Unit at MCPc will be called Foundatia Technologies, powered by MCPc. Customers of both companies will now have access to a variety of solutions including server monitoring, network security, backup and storage, virtualization management and data center hosting services and maintenance.

The new managed services portfolio will include customized support strategies that are specifically designed to keep businesses running at optimum speed, while also enabling internal IT teams to focus on core business objectives. MCPc specializes in scalable solutions that host, secure and optimize the "anyplace workspace." This helps customers empower their employees to work from any location and on any device.

The company is headquartered in Cleveland and has locations across the U.S. Specialization areas include data center and virtualization, borderless networks, collaboration, personal systems and mobility. They also provide imaging and printing along with professional and managed services.

MCPc's FLEX 365 IT managed services include remote support and monitoring, hardware and server support, IT staff augmentation and support for Cisco (News - Alert) SMARTnet. Services are designed to enable cost savings for customers, and the company also includes extended warranty plans along with simplified warranty management across multiple manufacturers.

"This new organization, with the strength of Foundatia in managed services plus MCPc's scale and scope, will provide a powerful solution for our mutual customers," said Michael Trebilcock, chairman and chief executive officer of MCPc. "We are extremely excited to bring Foundatia Technologies into the fold which will enable us to represent managed services in a more significant way in the marketplace."

"Like MCPc, customer satisfaction and ongoing relationships are the very foundation of our company," said James Gehring, chief executive officer and founder of Foundatia Technologies. "We look forward to working together and providing the highest quality of service and IT solutions to our combined customers."
