Cloud-based managed communications services provider, MACH (News - Alert), is introducing its new MACH Unity roaming business management tool. The solution is set to become the central point from which the company's operator customers can manage their entire roaming business.
The Unity portal is initially being launched to manage MACH's GSM Roaming Data Clearing services. It provides a convenient location from which operators may ensure their roaming business is running efficiently.
The MACH Unity solution also enables operators to view and manage their partners and contacts, as well as analyze transactions and subscriber behavior. They may also drill into the processing of transaction records and manage MACH configuration for tariffs, network settings and partners.
As part of a second launch phase, the Unity solution will offer complete visibility and control for all of MACH's managed service business lines. This is a major move that will let operators drill down to a partner or service level to understand and analyze the performance of their wholesale business. Unity will also serve as part of MACH's unified cloud services delivery, bringing together all of the company's existing reporting and control functionality. This includes the MACH Smart and the Roaming Management System, which will be folded into one central location for complete management of customers' wholesale roaming business.
Additionally, Unity will provide a self-care facility, which will liberate operators to focus on and manage their core businesses.
The solution is part of MACH's M Vision portfolio, combining the MACH Applied Business Intelligence (ABI) platform with comprehensive partner management capabilities. M Vision offers access to operational data as well as a range of reporting and analysis tools that integrate components of business intelligence. These include reporting, monitoring and alerts, analytics and forecasting.
"We are hugely excited to be introducing Unity to our customers," said Nick Wennekers, director, Online Business Management Solutions, MACH. "It is at the heart of our push to provide transparent, next-generation services for our customers; it will provide a huge amount of proactive information in one place, such as how traffic is flowing across their network and which partners are bringing in the most revenue."
"With falling ARPUs and greater competition in the telecoms industry, it's more essential than ever that operators have complete visibility and fine-tuned control of their roaming business," added Wennekers. "Unity will give our customers full visibility into the complete setup, status and transaction data of their services and partners, all integrated into one single environment to help them manage their businesses in a coherent and unified manner. By providing powerful automation, and ultimately self-service options, we expect Unity to hugely impact customer satisfaction."
